About the Project
Have you ever thought about that first day? Yep, that one.
The big one. The first day of… HIGH SCHOOL.
Over the last five months, five brave groups from Four Dwellings School in Birmingham have been competing to tell the untold story of the century with their own exciting adventures of starting high school. On March 5th 2018, each group pitched their book idea to the ‘Lion’s Lair’ and the winners were selected by a panel of expert judges.
Congratulations to our winners, Whizz Writers!
In collaboration with Wesleyan and Partnership for Children they have created an adventure that tackles the challenges faced when encountering the unknown, and promotes positive mental health for children leaving primary school.
The winning team’s story has been transformed into a real-life published book by author and illustrator team BB Taylor and Holly Bushnell, creators of the Murphy and the Monster Series. With their magical touch the winning team’s story has been brought to life and is now ready to be shared with the world to raise money and awareness for the amazing and vital work that Partnership for Children do in supporting positive mental health in children around the world.
